Also Known as Peking Lilac this is one of our favorite lilacs and is now available. Known for the profusion of perfect, creamy-white fragrant flowers and cherry-brown bark, the Lilac Tree is hardy and tough. Grows 20-30 feet tall. Blooms early to mid-June. Possibly the most trouble-free lilac you can grow. The Lilac Tree is resistant to mildew, borers and scale. Plant in full sun. Our trees are field grown & should not be planted in pots. I bought 3 Lilac tree all arrived in fine shape. Two have thrived growing about 18 inches the first year. The third tree I planted in a bad spot with poor drainage (rain water pooled in this area) moved it in august and even it has started looking much better.
