Prunus maritima - Native to the East Coast, the Beach Plum loves sandy soil. Springtime brings beautiful clusters of white flowers. Small purplish-blue fruit appears early fall. The leaves will turn a showy red & orange for some autumn color. Wildlife loves the edible fruit that is also great for jams and jellies. Will mature to 3 to 6 feet tall and wide. Our trees are field grown & should not be planted in pots. Planting in pots voids the warranty.
